The Nowgen Teaching and Demonstration Laboratory is modern and fully serviced, designed for 25 people at one time. It is fitted with AV equipment including ceiling-mounted data projector and screen. Practical work can be easily combined with computer-based data analysis as there are multiple network points and it is adjacent to the Bioinformatics Training Suite.

Kate Mulryan, Professional Training Officer, manages the laboratory, and with Angela Davies, Nowgen’s Professional Training Manager, has expertise in molecular biology, genetics and biochemistry, providing advice on practical set-up, equipment use, risk assessment and practical training expertise as required.

The laboratory is also available for hire for training courses or equipment demonstration. Please contact:
