Kate is the Information Support Officer for the DYSCERNE project. This role involves supporting the Project Manager in coordinating the network of Partners, planning events, maintaining links with other European networks and producing dissemination materials.
Kate also supports Professors Dian Donnai and Jill Clayton-Smith in her role as Managing Editor for the Journal of Clinical Dysmorphology.
Prior to this, Kate worked on the Genetics Service Development project, co-ordinating the distribution of Personal Health Records for rare genetic conditions. She has also worked with Dr Emma Gillaspy on the Orphanet project, collecting data on UK support groups and professional networks for rare diseases, and adding these activities to the database.
Kate graduated from the Manchester Metropolitan University in 2005 with a BA (Hons) degree in Sociology.
