Public dialogue event: ALL WELCOME

This debate is part of a series of events being held in conjunction with the BODYWORLDS 4 exhibition currently on display at the Museum of Science and Industry in Manchester.

What screening is offered to newborn babies for genetic conditions – will more choice follow?

If you want to find out more, come along to this evening event and hear from experts in the field, join in the debate and have your say.

Speakers include:

  • Susan Fairgrieve (Genetic Counsellor and Antenatal Training Coordinator for the Northern Region)
  • Francine Jury (Researcher at CIGMR – Centre for Integrated Genomic Medical Research)
  • Lucy Frith (Lecturer in Healthcare Ethics, University of Liverpool)
