Excellent response to 'Changing Futures' website

BioNews has published a review of the ‘Changing Futures’ website that gives high praise for Nowgen’s new resource on gene therapy and cystic fibrosis.

The ‘Changing Futures’ website is aimed at teenagers and teachers to help educate and explore the latest developments in research and its impact on patients. Consequently, we were delighted that this review was written by a teenager, called Marco Narajos, who wants to study medicine at university. He says:

“As a student and as a teenager, I would definitely recommend this resource to anyone who wants to know more about CF and how it affects young people. ‘Changing Futures’ is a great web resource that deserves a lot of kudos for bringing to light one of the UK's most common genetic conditions and creatively explLogo from Changing Futures projectoring gene therapy."

Marco said he was particularly impressed with the personal stories reflected in the website, but also commented on the explanations being “pitched at the perfect level”. We are delighted to hear that teenagers feel that it the resource is both attractive and understandable.
